Pneumatic tire empty container handlers are among the equipment Forklifts Wholesale International, Inc., can supply, as well as other liftrucks, forklifts and material handling equipment.

With a capacity from 33,000lbs to 36,000 lbs., these are large sized pneumatic tire lift trucks. Designed to efficiently lift 20 foot and 40 foot empty ocean containers, or refrigerated containers, empty container handlers of this size can then stack the containers one on top of an other.

Depending on the empty container handler's lift height these handlers have the ability to stack containers 3 to 5 high, or greater. Some empty container handlers have a side-pick attachment instead of forks that's hydraulically expandable from 20' to 40' depending on the container's length being handled. The container is locked to the spreader bar attachment with twist locks for handling purposes.

Most commonly equipped with six cylinder diesel engines, empty container handlers rarely, if at all, come from the factory with the optional eight cylinder gasoline or LPG (propane) engines. Built with planetary drive axles these larger fork lifts also have air brakes, and 3-speed powershift transmissions.

Equipped with air filled pneumatic tires these empty container handlers are designed for use outside. For stability reasons empty container handlers should be used on hard, smooth surfaces such as concrete.
