Pneumatic lift trucks are equipped with air filled pneumatic tires that are typically used outside on yard surfaces such as crushed concrete, packed gravel, or stabilized limestone. Pneumatic tire forklifts are not recommended to be used on dirt, except on a very limited basis, as long as it's well packed and not loose, or muddy. Pneumatic tire forklifts can also be used on hard, smooth surfaces such as concrete.

If your situation allows for larger turning radius than solid cushion warehouse tire forklifts and liftrucks, fork lifts with pneumatic tires can offer a viable alternative to neet your needs.

Internal combustion pneumatic forklifts such as those descibed here may be be used outdoors or indoors as long as there is adequate ventilation. Internal combustion fork lifts come with either four or six cylinders engines, and have three fuel options: propane, gasoline, diesel.
